Beside the certificate computerization project that AIMS is currently engaged with ministry of education, the Text Book Distribution system is another project designed to automate the entire process of text book distribution, and also serve as an inventory tacking tool.
The system can be used on national, provincial, district and school level for tracking the distribution process and stock availability.
The system will bring in an efficient, transparent and effective management of the stock for text book distribution Unit, and will also accelerate and systemize the text books needs and distribution process.

The first version of PMUNA maps have been produced based on 8 sectors of ANDS by AIMS Regional offices. It will show all projects status in each region. The maps will be distributed to PMUNA users in November 2008.
AIMS is distributing English language text books to interested GoA staff. As AIMS has conducting English language trainings in most of the ministries of GoA, some staff who were un able to attend the AIMS English language classes are now being issued text book for self learning .

Yet another training session of AIMS Certified Database Assistant (ACDA) came to an end on the 15 th day of October. This session started on the 13 th day of August at AIMS Kabul. A total of 23 participants (male) from different government ministries, NGO's and UN agencies have attended the training session. The next session of ACDA is planed to start in mid November.
AIMS Kandahar office started a new phase of computers training to Cadastral employees in Kandahar. A total of 10 employees (male) are attending the training.
AIMS Hirat team started Arcview 3.2 training for 10 students (4Male- 6Female) of Geo Dept of Hirat University.
